This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, concepts, and practices of financial management. It focuses on how financial decisions are made within business organizations to maximize firm value and ensure financial stability.

The course covers the analysis and planning of financial activities, including investment decisions, financing decisions, and dividend decisions. Emphasis is given to the time value of money, risk and return analysis, cost of capital, and capital budgeting techniques such as NPV and IRR. The course also introduces working capital management and financial performance analysis using financial statements.

By the end of the course, students will develop analytical and decision-making skills necessary for effective financial management in both corporate and financial institutions.
